Our mission as a Corporate Digital Transformation Team is to sustain EVS business activities by monitoring business processes, managing corporate applications & data architecture and contributing to key strategic projects.  

As a Business Analyst and Application owner, your role is to sustain the entire life cycle of corporate applications including design, implementation, continuous improvements, and maintenance/support to keep the solutions aligned with business evolution and strategic ambitions.

Job Description

As an application owner, you 

  • Define and manage the backlog and complete lifecycle of corporate applications for which you are the owner.  
  • Build strong relationships with the key stakeholders of these applications to better understand their needs and facilitate discussions between them to ensure alignment.  
  • Understand, anticipate and challenge business needs to proactively propose continuous improvement and ensure higher efficiency in business processes, better application usages and consistency between all corporate applications and processes.    
  • Manage upgrades and maintenance   
  • Manage access rights, licenses attribution and security matters 
  • Categorize, prioritize, and manage all requests related to these applications to apply the most appropriate process  
    • Support requests, issues, or incidents: React promptly, investigate, analyze, resolve and follow-up issues with end users.  
    • Change requests and continuous improvement suggestions: build, prioritize and manage the application backlog in collaboration with your key stakeholders (internal clients).  
  • Involve external partners and experts when necessary.  Build strong relationships with them to ensure efficiency and consistency.   
  • Manage integrations and dependencies with other corporate applications.  
  • Create and maintain the documentation for each application in appropriate systems and ensure its availability for adequate audiences.  
  • Regularly update and test the ‘business continuity plan’ for corporate applications for which you are the owner.   

As a business analyst, you actively contribute to corporate digital transformation projects.  In this role, you are accountable for some or all the following tasks.   

  • Your scope of responsibilities should systematically be discussed, for each project, at the beginning of the project with the project manager since some of these tasks are sometimes done by an external partner (Note that the manager should also be involved, at least for validation) :  
  • Collecting business needs, challenge them and translate them into functional requirements 
  • Participating in the selection of new solutions/applications to ensure compatibility with the overall corporate applications architecture and easy integrations with other applications 
  • Participating in the mapping or review of business processes to ensure alignment between the processes and the solution (with the ambition of remaining close to standards) 
  • Providing functional designs and formalizing the solution/application’s architecture/functional design 
  • Creating, testing, and validating functional requirements  
  • Configuring the application 
  • Identifying and defining integration needs with other EVS applications  
  • Defining and configuring security roles/access rights 
  • Following security guidelines and involve the Security team when necessary 
  • Coordinating and follow-up the work on the infrastructure with the IT team 
  • Executing integration testing  
  • Supporting UAT testing 
  • Preparing and monitoring the execution of data migration (Export/Import)  
  • Contributing to the definition of the cut-over plan 

Profile

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Min 3 years experience in a similar role.

Technical skills  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & F&O is a significant asset 
  • Knowledge of O365 and Azure DevOps will ease the onboarding 
  • Knowledge or experience of the following topics is a plus:  
    • Conception of data models / database schema 
    • UML diagrams and BPMN annotations 
    • Micro service architecture and API 
    • Power Automate 
    • Power BI 
    • Power Apps
