Scope

EVS is deploying a secure and scalable AI architecture and a federated governance model that empowers every EVS team member to use and build AI agents safely, to optimize their work and collaboration.

As an AI Business Analyst, you are the bridge between the business, this AI architecture and its governance.

You make sure that AI at EVS delivers real value, remains compliant and cost-controlled, and is aligned with strategic ambitions.

Job Description

Qualify use cases and own the AI backlog

  • Run a single intake process for AI use cases and POC proposals. Analyze, challenge and qualify each one on value, feasibility, data readiness, cost and risk, and identify needs better solved by simpler means.
  • Build, prioritize and maintain the AI backlog and roadmap with the governance and key stakeholders.
  • Refine items into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria (quality targets, human-in-the-loop rules, evaluation test sets), and support UAT with business owners.
  • Define with the governance the criteria to scale a POC into a corporate solution, and support its validation.

Monitor the AI portfolio, its value and costs

  • Keep an end-to-end, cross-department view of all AI initiatives, from idea to POC, scale-up and retirement, to ensure consistency, surface synergies and avoid duplication. Ownership of each POC remains with the business.
  • Define success KPIs and a baseline before each POC, measure adoption and value after go-live, and report to coordination and governance meetings and the AI Council.
  • Monitor AI consumption (credits/tokens), costs and licenses per initiative, and provide visibility, forecasts and optimization recommendations to governance and budget owners (FinOps).

Enable the business and drive adoption

  • Support EVS team members in designing and building AI agents on the corporate platform (e.g., Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry) within the approved guardrails.
  • Define the enablement and adoption approach, and provide reusable patterns, templates, documentation and training so that agent owners can build safely and monitor quality, adoption and risk.
  • Animate the citizen-developer community and the AI Exchange Groups, and promote the code of conduct and responsible use of AI.

Contribute to the AI architecture

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the AI architecture (MCP gateway and servers, data and application layers, agent platform) with the AI Architect, who defines and drives its implementation.
  • Translate use cases into architecture, application and data requirements (sources, connectors, APIs), and work with data and IT teams on data readiness.

Oversee compliance and risk

  • Oversee the compliance of AI agents and solutions with the EU AI Act, NIS2, GDPR and the EVS AI Policy, and maintain the corporate AI system inventory.
  • Support the risk assessment and classification of use cases (including high-risk) and the SOLVE approval workflow with Legal, Privacy and Information Security.
  • Ensure guardrails (security, data classification, responsible use) are applied, and report AI-related incidents.

Maintain a technology watch

  • Follow AI and agentic tools, models and practices, assess their relevance for EVS, support the approved-tools list, propose and implement new features, and feed the roadmap and governance decisions.
