Scope

As a Product/Solutions Manager, you will drive the vision, strategy, and lifecycle of one or several EVS products or solutions. Operating at the intersection of customer needs, business strategy, technology, and market dynamics, you ensure that our solutions deliver maximum value across the broadcast and media production ecosystem. You will define the solution roadmap, ensure strategic alignment, and secure effective cross‑functional execution, from business planning to go‑to‑market readiness.

Job Description

Strategic Ownership

  • Own business initiatives and translate them into actionable product/solution capabilities and roadmap items aligned with EVS’s business goals.
  • Define and maintain the product/solution vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, competitive landscape, and EVS strategy.

Solution Scope & Lifecycle Management

  • Ensure a holistic EVS solution offering that includes core EVS products, third‑party components, services, support contracts, SLAs, and infrastructure when applicable.
  • Manage end‑to‑end solution lifecycle, from vision to roadmap execution and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high‑level visibility on progress, risks, and dependencies; re‑align priorities as needed.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure alignment on vision, priorities, and desired outcomes, while validating prioritization based on business value and strategic direction.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and the (S)VP Products & Solutions to prepare go‑to‑market strategy, product positioning, launches, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre‑Sales, Marketing, R&D, Project, Support, Finance, Manufacturing, and others to gather feedback, assess adoption and satisfaction, and improve the offering.
  • Actively participate in governance processes, including R&D planning sessions, Product Life Cycle gates, Solution Unit meetings, or Product & Solution Board activities.

Decision‑Making & Prioritization

  • Prioritize effectively across competing dimensions: product/solution features, cross‑portfolio requirements, technical debt, short‑ vs long‑term goals, operational support, and quality.
  • Challenge and support R&D teams by providing strong business context and validating trade‑offs to ensure customer‑focused outcomes.

Profile

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in Product Management, Solution Management, Program/Project Management, or a comparable strategic role.
  • Experience in broadcast/media production technologies, workflows, or the ability to quickly acquire domain expertise.
  • Experience with EVS products, cloud/SaaS deployments, and ecosystem integrations is a strong asset.

  • Capable of analyzing market trends, customer insights, and product performance data to guide decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate vision and value to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong influencing skills without formal authority; able to drive alignment across teams.

Technical Literacy

  • Solid understanding of broadcast/media technologies or ability to quickly learn them.
  • Comfortable discussing architecture, workflows, and technical implications with engineering stakeholders.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Languages

  • Fluent in English.
