Scope

As Software Engineer in Test Automation, you take part in the complete EVS software development and testing processes.

As a member of an Agile team, you ensure quality control of software and hardware by describing, developing and executing different test tools and test scripts. You are focused on testability, robustness and performance of the product delivered. You also ensure continuous integration using next generation technologies and automation tools to ensure a highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. You are responsible for planning and executing automated functional and non-functional tests and document test results.

Job Description

  • Setup, maintain and operate test automation frameworks
  • Design use cases according to the product specifications, using test strategies and technics
  • Develop and execute automated tests, report the results and verify bug fixes
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery of products under his responsibilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Build an adequate test plan based on risk assessment and time constraints
  • Be proactive to improve test coverage and to find defects earlier
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team

Profile

Bachelor or Master degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent degree / experience

Technical skills : 

  • Knowledge of a programming language: C++
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages: Python and/or Groovy
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Understanding of the full software life cycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, and maintenance
  • Willingness to develop and apply advanced testing skills, including software testing, DevOps practices and automation tools development
  • Experience with CI/CD software is a plus (preferably TeamCity)

Languages:

  • Fluent in French
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of another language is an asset
