Scope

Our mission as a Corporate Transformation Team is to sustain EVS business activities by monitoring business processes, managing corporate applications, structuring, and managing corporate data.  

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager & PMO officer to join the team.  

As a senior project manager & PMO officer, you will lead internal digital transformation projects and programs. You are responsible for the definition and management of the project scope, budget, resources identification and planning. You will coordinate the project team’s activities and validate deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders to successfully achieve the project objectives and consequently contribute to EVS' strategic ambitions. 

You will also be taking the role of PMO officer to manage the Digital Transformation Portfolio.  

You will report directly to the Head of Digital Transformation.  

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will  

  • Define and formalize the project’s business case and project charter in collaboration with the project sponsor and key stakeholders. 
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with project stakeholders (including C level) - understand their needs and concerns, proactively share relevant information and updates, provide recommendations regarding key project decisions to ensure the success of the project. 
  • Define and implement adequate project governance (Project team, R&R, committees, escalation path, risk mgt approach, ...);  
  • Build and closely follow-up the project planning, budget, and resources allocation to ensure the success of the project.  
  • Prepare and facilitate the selection of solutions and partners (from benchmark to recommendation).  
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with the project partners (i.e : integrator, …).   
  • Coordinate and follow-up the partners activities, manage potential deviations or issues in the best interest of EVS and to ensure the project success.  
  • Manage and deliver the day-to-day execution of the project, including project team coordination, planning of activities, risk & issue management, preparation and facilitation of project committees, communication with all stakeholders and change management activities to ensure qualitative and on time delivery of the project deliverables, keeping in mind business goals and challenges. 
  • Provide the right framework and guidelines to business analysts to support them in their role. Coordinate their work in line with the project planning and expected deliverables.  
  • Monitor and document the project progress and the quality of deliverables in perspective of the business ambitions and project objectives. 
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing and user acceptance sign-off. 
  • Be able to manage one or two large projects or a few small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the program level. 

As PMO officer, you will  

  • Collaborate with Project managers to maintain dashboards and KPIs to track the overall health, progress, and performance of the project portfolio.  
  • Facilitate the prioritization of projects based on business value, risk, and resource availability. 
  • Monitor risks and issues across the portfolio, ensuring early identification and effective mitigation strategies. 
  • Continuously improve project and portfolio management methodologies, tools, and best practices in line with the company’s digital transformation maturity. 

Profile

Diploma/Certifications 

  • University degree or the equivalent by experience 
  • Prince II, PMP or any relevant project management certification 
  • Change Management expertise and certification such as PROSCI is an asset 

Soft skills 

  • Strong customers focus with the ability to manage expectations appropriately, constructively challenge requests and build a long-term relationship with key stakeholders.  
  • Ability to prioritize work efforts by balancing operational tasks with a longer-term strategic task 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in French and English 
  • Have the right balance between diplomacy and assertiveness.  
  • Team player autonomous & structured/organized. 
  • Positive and problem-solving mindset 
  • Ability to develop relationships and manage a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects (2,3) simultaneously.  
  • Resilient & dynamic 

Experience 

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing autonomously complex Digital transformation project (ERP or CRM implementation, eshop, ...)  
  • Previous experience in Portfolio management is an asset.  
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various technical and business teams. 
  • Experience working with agile, Waterfall, hybrid methods and tools. 
  • Languages: Full working proficiency in English and French
