Scope
As Senior Accountant, you are reporting to the Head of Group Accounting. The main focus of your function will be ensuring the integrity of accounting information by verifying, allocating, posting and entering transactions.
Job Description
- Maintain the trial balance by accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger;
- Handle subsidiary accounting from A to Z;
- Prepare and on-time submit of all tax returns, tax-VAT declarations;
- Prepare quarterly-end and year-end closing process based on group instructions;
- Analyze financial data;
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
Technical skills:
- Extended knowledge of BE GAAP;
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process;
- Knowledge of Direct tax and Indirect tax;
- Experienced in working with ERP systems, knowledge Microsoft D365 is a plus;
- Advanced Excel skills.
Soft skills:
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Can work independently with limited supervision;
- Critical and analytical mind.
Languages:
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge in other languages is an asset.
