QC Engineer

Scope

As a member of a development (scrum) team, ensure the quality control of the products developed by :

• Analyzing requirements and designing, developing, and executing various test suites and cases.
• Running different types of test tools and scripts.
• Monitoring and analyzing test execution results, ensuring proper defect management and resolution.

Job Description

As a QC Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing product requirements and specifications
• Collaborating with team members to design, estimate, and implement test cases aligned with the test strategy and plan
• Creating test plans based on risk assessment and time constraints
• Supporting continuous integration and delivery, ensuring high-quality standards and continuous improvement
• Reporting defects, test results, usability issues, and risks in a clear and structured way
• Following up on defect resolution to ensure proper validation
• Identifying opportunities for test automation
• Identifying and proposing process improvements. 

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field/experience
• Quality-focused and customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and get help whenever needed
• Result oriented and proactive team player 
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Open for changes and continuous learning

Nice-to-haves 

• Experience in the broadcast industry
• Background in quality assurance or application testing
• Scripting / programming language skills 
• Familiarity with Jira
• ISTQB Certification(s)

Languages : 

• Fluent in French
• Good working knowledge of English
• Knowledge of another language is an asset
