Legal Counsel

Scope

As a Legal Counsel, you render professional legal advice and assistance (domestic and international scope) directly reporting to the Head of Legal. You support a broad spectrum of matters, including contracts, intellectual property, compliance, transactions, litigation, trade, and business practices.

Job Description

•    Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial contracts in close contact with the business.
•    Contribute to the projects of our various activities for the legal aspects in close collaboration with the operational teams.
•    Advise the business on legal and compliance matters.
•    Handle various legal issues and dispute in collaboration with external lawyers.
•    Update the company's policies and best practices based on the new legal, regulatory, and market practice development.
•    Provide and update contract templates and ensure proper contract management by the business.
•    Provide research, and factual information on legal questions.

Profile

•    University law degree.
•    Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a law firm, a multinational company's legal department or a consulting company.
Soft skills:
•    Excellent legal analytic and contract drafting skills.
•    Able to work independently and accurately with attention to detail.
•    Flexible.
Languages skills:
•    Fluent in English and French.
•    Knowledge of other languages (Spanish and German) is an asset.
