Scope

We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead, develop and structure the Learning & Development function across the company. 
In this role, you will design a coherent “end to end” L&D strategy including all L&D administrative activities. You will define priorities, oversee learning systems, ensure cross-functional coordination, and drive initiatives that develop our employees’ skills proactively. 
The L&D Manager will support both employees and team leaders by providing the tools, programs, and guidance they need to grow, lead, and succeed in a fast-evolving environment.
The role also requires continuous technological and methodological watch, ensuring that our learning practices remain innovative, future-proof, and proactively aligned with emerging skills and industry trends.
The purpose of the role is to continuously elevate the organization’s capabilities, both hard and soft skills, to ensure our teams remain highly skilled, adaptable, and prepared for the company’s growth ambitions.
The position has an international scope, covering all EVS sites worldwide and ensuring a consistent L&D approach across our offices.
As a member of the HR department, you will also contribute actively to broader HR initiatives and projects.

Job Description

L&D vision, strategy and framework:

  • Set the vision, structure, and roadmap for Learning & Development across the company
  • Analyze current and future company needs to proactively identify future skill needs
  • Ensure proper budgeting, measurement, and continuous improvement of L&D initiatives
  • Guarantee global consistency while enabling local adaptation to address regional needs

Talent & leadership development:

  • Work transversally with HR colleagues and Team Leaders to anticipate skill gaps, translate performance evaluations into development plans and implement proactive upskilling and training plans
  • Develop structured career development initiatives, including mentoring networks and high-potential development pathways
  • Design cohort-based leadership development programs supported by virtual cases, simulations, and on-demand learning modules
  • Define objective criteria for participation in leadership development initiatives
  • Establish and monitor team member development KPIs for managers to reinforce accountability for talent growth

Learning systems, processes & analytics: 

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of training programs, covering both operational and administrative aspects (such as participant registrations, room scheduling, subsidy applications), provider selection, and partnerships with schools and business programs
  • Ensure our Learning Management System is up to date
  • Set up clear, efficient processes for training administration, tracking and reporting
  • Drive process efficiency and support the automation of key L&D workflows
  • Use data and learning analytics to measure impact, refine programs, and drive evidence-based decisions

Learning culture: 

  • Promote a learning culture: drive engagement by making learning accessible, relevant, and prioritized by employees and managers
  • Contribute to the design of an interactive career portal to enhance team members’ access to development resources

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years in L&D
  • Strong project management skills and ability to design and implement systems
  • Analytical mindset, pragmatic, structured, and ability to take a helicopter view
  • Comfortable with technical environments and able to understand business challenges
  • Experience managing transversal projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders

  • Fluency in English and French
