Scope

The Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for endtoend planning of finished goods across a multiplant, multidistribution center network in Europe, the US and Asia, ensuring ontime, infull delivery to customers while optimizing inventory, capacity. The role orchestrates demand, supply, production and inventory plans across production sites and logistics centers, serving as the central point of contact between teams such as Sales, Project Management, Support, and Logistics commercial, and external partners. You are balancing priorities and ensuring operational readiness for key broadcast events. This role requires excellent organization, real-time responsiveness, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
 

Job Description

  • Perform technical validation and scheduling of customer orders in the ERP system (Microsoft D365), aligning with production capacity, operational constraints and Finance department. 
  • Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules proactively to address conflicts, last-minute changes, or supply chain disruptions. 
  • Ensure critical deadlines are met, particularly for broadcast-related deliveries linked to major events (e.g., Olympics, World Cup, Eurovision). 
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to guarantee material availability matches production needs. 
  • Oversee the global end-to-end planning to ensure the delivery of goods on time in full at customers site. 
  • Maintain clear and structured communication with Production, Engineering, and Management regarding planning updates, changes, and risks. 
  • Support project planning and delivery for large-scale, acting as a key planning liaison across internal departments. 
  • Continuously improve planning workflows and interdepartmental coordination, working closely with Warehouse, Shipping, Business Operations, Project, Procurement, and Product teams. 
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to provide visibility about the global supply chain and its performance 
  • Develop strong working knowledge of manufacturing and supply processes within the Microsoft D365 ERP system. 
  • Report directly to Head of Manufacture & Supply
  • Keen to learn various tasks from OPS administration to support the colleague whenever necessary  

Profile

  • Solid experience ( at least 5 years) in production planning, or supply chain management preferably within the broadcast, media tech, or electronics manufacturing sector. 
  • Eager to learn and continuously improve the current operations by leveraging new technologies 
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft D365), with a focus on manufacturing and logistics modules. 
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage overlapping timelines, cross-functional teams, and tight broadcast delivery windows. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in high-pressure environments. 
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, scheduling techniques, and just-in-time delivery practices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working across departments and time zones. 
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
