Scope
Job Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, part lists, and technical drawings.
- Inspect parts prior to assembly for flaws and imperfections.
- Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts and verify tolerances.
- Solder electrical components.
- Fasten cables and wiring securely.
- Apply correct torque specifications to fasteners.
- Use Loctite products as required.
- Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies.
- Grease or lubricate parts as instructed.
- Identify assembly problems and notify the supervisor for resolution.
- Tag or mark identifying information on parts.
- Operate air/power hand tools and drill presses as necessary.
- Test assemblies for mechanical reliability.
- Inspect and test completed units.
- Handle finished assemblies weighing between 40–75 lbs.
- Maintain good verbal and written communication skills.
Profile
- 2+ years of electromechanical experience desired.
- Technical certificate is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing and quality control.
- Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools.
- Knowledge of tooling and safety management.
- Strong quality focus.
- Ability to work with power tools.
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
